well this song just encourages me alot. my friend aleisha showed me this song, and i just broke down and bawled my eyes out. this song is suchhhh an encouragement at times when i just feel like i want it to end i hate everything and it just makes me feel like im not alone, even if i feel like i am. it just reminds us we can go to God always, he will comfort us and just let us confide in him. it just makes you think, alot of us hide behind a smile and say everything is ok, but theres always something that is eating us away inside. once again, this just says you dont have to face this on your own.... just ahhhhhh idk wat to say but i loveeee this song, listen to it, my heart totally broke in two, cuz it just feels like my life is like this alot of times.... i just want to thank everyone who has helped me and encouraged me when i need it cuz it does help, even when i feel totally alone... i loveeeeeee you guys soooo much!!!!!!

Well, this is just a reminder that Jesus is the Reason for the season. I know that i definately get caught up in the busyness of the season and forget the whole reason we celebrate this holiday. Jesus was born to save us from our sinfullness, and that is the reason we are here today. This verse also says he WILL save us from our sins, forever and ever no matter how many times we screw up. well, idk if i did this verse already, but im gonna do this anyways.... well this verse i used on my biology report and i reallly liked it soooo......Basically this just says that the man that perseveres under trial he will recieve a reward from God if he is a christian. This is saying we all go through many struggles and trials during this life, and we will be rewarded for persevering and not giving up. My one friend told me one day, DONT give up, you werent made to give up, and she showed me this verse. When you want to give up and want everything to end, remember persevereance shows character and you will recieve a reward for persevering. NEVER GIVE UP!!!!!!!! persevere guysss!!! i loveeeee all of you!!!!!

Encouragment.........

well, we all have bad days.... today is one of those days for me. last nite i didnt get to bed till 11:30ish, i think i got a wayyy bad grade on my spanish test, i got off on homework cuz i made a stupid mistake (shocker!!!!) and i dont like my seat in english (me being stupid) and my math test, i didnt get a good grade, and i just dont understand math. and i just feel like i am failing everythin!!!!! i just realized, i havent been praying much lately, ive been so caught up in school and in basketball, i havent spent time just talking to God. hmmmm sooo last nite my friend called cuz she needed to talk. well we talking, and i most deff need to vent sometimes, you kno??? well i am not one to share my feelings, so i keep it all bottled up inside till i explode, over something stupid usually. that is REALLY not good for me. it will lead me to make a stupid descion, or hurt myself, and most deff not good. everything just gets sooooo overwhelming w/ school and everything..... so just encouragement to other ppl that feel that way. i dont know if u feel the same way. soooo ya!!!!!! hope everyone has a good day!!! This verse is one of the greatest verses in the bible..... i think cuz it tells us, we do have a way out of going to hell for all eternity. Jesus is the light of the world, and in the darkness, the light still shines brightly.... also, we as christians should be the light of the world. alot of christians say their christians, and they are just talking the talk, not walking the walk. WE need to be the light in the world, even in the midst of this darkness. are you shining your light for jesus????

This is just a reminder that Gods love is unfailing and unconditional, hes not a "fair weather friend" he doesnt care what you look like, if you have designer outfits or not, or even if you have friends or not. God is your forever friend, he will never leave you!!! Its says in this verse, everyone one is in search for someone to love them, man is desperate for attention and the need to be loved... and God can fill that need/want. God will always be there for you, no matter what.
My Mom read this book to me when i was little, the thing it said on every page was::
"Ill love you forever, Ill love you for always, as long as i am living, my baby you'll be. This just shows the love and unconditional love for this mothers son. It doesnt say: ill love you forever, if you get strait A's. It says she will love him forever and always, even if he screws up. This is just a slight picture of Gods love for us.
This just always put me at peace, to know i do have a friend i can confide in and talk to, and even when i screw up (which is usally 99% of the day) hes not going to stop loving me. Well i bettter go.... just somthin to ponder....

Just a thought.....

Well, today and yesterday, i went shopping almost all day, and something struck me and made me realize how incrediblly lucky i am to have everything i have. i am truly blessed. i look at others and ill say o i wish i had that or i wish i was getting that for christmas, i shouldnt be saying that. God wants me to be content with what i have, and he is making me a better person because i dont have as much as others. God has truly blessed me, not in material things, but more in relationships and his love for me. He loves me unconditionally, and that is more than i could EVER ask for. I have the most wonderful friends, teachers, school, family, church family, and even more than i could ask for. Just remember to be thankful for everything and every situtaion, God is doing it for a purpose. love you guys, and cant wait to see you tuesday.

Giving Thanks

Well as everyone knows, Thanksgiving is tomorrow. Many people get caught up in the Macys day parade, and all the AMAZING yummy food. But, if you made a list of everything you DONT need, you would be amazed at how much you have to be thankful for. I know that sometimes (now were on the topic of Christmas) when i hear what others are getting for Christmas ill be like oh my parents dont spend that much money on me, and to be quite honest, i dont need ANY of my christmas presents. i made a list of all i have to be thankful for, i was humbled by how much i have. This was just really good advice a person i look up to gave to me..... pretty good huh???? well happy thanksgiving, love you all and see everyone on tuesday!!!! give thanks!!

Volleyball

Well this is a sad post. My volleyball season officially ended yesterday.... we had our closing banquet thing. and i cried. Basically because my coach who i look up to and all that jazz is leaving for peru next year. It was really really sad last night cuz i dont even get to have him for one more year. This goes back to an older post about giving thanks. I really don't want to give thanks to God for letting him leave the US and going to Peru to be a missionary. Clearly, at this present time, Mr Surrett has finished his work at Bible Baptist School (even though he doesnt leave until next year). Like a said, it is REALLY REALLY hard to give thanks in a situation like this. Just last night after the banquet, i thanked God for allowing Mr Surrett to coach me, even if it was only one season. Thank you Mr Surrett for everything you have done for me, and the team. WE WILL MISS YOU!!!!!!!

Saved By Grace 2

Well guys, i have another story to tell. If anyone remembers in HONORS :) Bio class, we were talking about our body temperatures??? and we were saying if it was so high, you could die.

Well, when i was in Australia when i was 1 (i think) years old, it was my first time there, and i had gotten dehydrated. I had gotten so dehydrated, that I was in the hospital, with a temperature of 107 degrees. I also was on a feeding tube. Once again, I almost died, even at age one. God obviously had me in his plan for something.

It was by Gods grace, even when i was only 1 year old, that i am alive to day. He had a plan for me and i am doing my best to fufill his plan for me. Remember to thank God, for everyday that you live, even if you had a bad day. Live everyday to the fullest and glorify him in everything you do!!!!! i loveeeeee everyone!!!!

Since Last Time.....

Well i had a volleyball game yesterday and we played Berks, the hardest team in the league, and we lost.... JV won though--- great job guys!!!! Varsity played a pretty good game, but it could've been better.....but it was fun!!!! seniors have one more game and i will miss then all!!!!-- joy, kc, jess, and em..... i love you guys!! EVERYONE come to our game on thursday, against Mount Calvary!!! it will a good game to watch!!! come.... 5:30pm!!!!

Saved By Grace

The reason that I am alive today is because of Gods Grace. I became a Christian when i was in Kindergarten at Bible Baptist School. I went through about 6th grade talking the talk and walking the walk, but not really believing what I said I believed. Then, the summer of 2005 my family and I went down to Alabama. We stayed at my uncles lake house with boats and jet skis, and of course, the lake. The last day we were down there, I was getting off the boat, and my hands were slippery. I slipped of the boat, hit my head, and my nose, and was knocked out for a few seconds. I couldn't swim or do anything for about 5 seconds. My brother was getting off right after me so he saw the entire thing and called for my dad. My dad grabbed me, as I was sinking and brought me to the surface. I was covered in blood and coughing up water. If I had been knocked unconscious for longer than I was, I might not be here today. My nose and my head hurt for days to follow, but that isn't the point. If I had been knocked out for a while, and no one saw me fall, I would be at the bottom of that lake. The reason I was only unconcious for seconds was because God wanted me to do something with my life. He had plans for me to fufill to please him. I think that was probobly the scariest moment of my life, and that woke me up that i don't know when God will take me to be with him in heaven. After that summer, i rededicated my life to Christ and each and every day, I am striving to become more like Jesus.
Jeremiah 29:11 says:
For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (www.biblegateway.com)

God has a plan for everyone in the world, but it is up to us if we want to fulfill it. You never know when you will die, so try to please Jesus in everything you do.
